22/10/2021

We’re starting this academic year with 92 new predoctoral researchers joining the UOC community. To welcome you, the University organized two online events, which took place on 14 and 15 September.

The first event involved David Masip, the Doctoral School’s director, and Marta Aymerich, UOC Vice President for Strategic Planning and Research. They welcomed them and gave a presentation on the University. There was then a question and answer session for the doctoral students, and group sessions with the School’s director and the directors and tutors of each of the different programmes.

The session on the 15th, which also involved Masip, was used to explain how the different services and resources on offer at the UOC. Martina Rodríguez, from Campus Services, presented the Virtual Campus; Bego Aguilera and Neus Millán, research support librarians, talked about the Library, and José Manuel Godínez, from the Research and Innovation department, explained what the Research Support Services could offer.

There was also an online session on 14 October to address people’s questions and provide a guided tour of the Virtual Campus and the IntraUOC, and an on-site tour, on 21 October, for those who wanted to see the workplaces available.

We wish you every success at the UOC!
