Back at the office? Keep your hands squeaky clean!

20/05/2020

Slowly but surely, lockdown measures are being lifted. Nevertheless, it’s up to us to remain vigilant and follow safety recommendations in order avoid contracting COVID-19.

Headed back to the workplace? Don’t lower your guard. It’s more vital than ever to follow certain hygiene measures:

Wash your hands frequently

This is the most effective way to curb the spread of infection.

When should I wash my hands?

  • Before and after using the bathroom.
  • After blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
  • When you return home after being outside.
  • Before handling or eating food.
  • After touching raw food.
  • After handling the trash, money, containers, etc.
  • Before and after touching animals or handling their food.
  • After touching public handrails or anything on public transport.
  • After coming into direct contact with the sick or their surroundings.
  • If your hands are dirty.

How should I wash my hands?

With soap (preferably liquid and pH neutral) and lukewarm water.

With hydroalcoholic sanitizer gel:

Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth, as well as the rest of your face, without washing your hands first.

Avoid touching any part of your face especially after touching or handling objects that other people may have touched or handled before you, such as door handles, display counters, touchscreens, payment pads, lift buttons and money.

Together we can beat this disease!
